The 3-star Copenhagen Strand hotel is housed in one of the harbour front’s original warehouses, dating back to 1869. Among other things, it has been used as a paper and box factory. The old buildings have been beautifully and meticulously restored. The interior design reflects a rustic, lightly maritime style making the hotel one of the city’s most charming with a fantastic atmosphere. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Copenhagen. The hotel has a view of Copenhagen’s harbour, and is only minutes walk from Nyhavn, Amaligenborg Castle and the pedestrian shopping street Stroget. With a water taxi, Copenhagen Strand is only two minutes from the Opera House. A business centre is located in the hotel lobby with access to a pc, printer, copy machine and telefax. The hotel’s large, delightful breakfast restaurant is next to the cosy lounge with a TV room that is open every day of the week. There are 174 cosy and well equipped rooms all with free high-speed internet. The equipment in the rooms are the same, however the size of the beds are different. The superior rooms are bigger than the standard rooms which make it possible to put in an extra bed.
